Somer Valley Wheels is a 'Cycling for all' project run by the Sports and Active Leisure department of Bath and North-East Somerset. The views expressed on this website are not necessarily those of the Bath and North-East Somerset Council. The project is located at the back of the church rooms of St Nicolas Church with whom the project has a working partnership.

The Project is supported by the Bath and North-East Somerset PCT, the Colliers Way Rural Tourism Project, NRGy and the Somer Valley Partnership.

SVW and Tandemclub ride for Bikeweek 2010

Somer Valley Wheels put up some interesting events for Bikeweek 2010. The week kicked off with a tandem club ride and our regular SVW ride, 31 people turned up for that. On the Tuesday 21 riders took off to Nunney Castle for a picnic ride and on the Friday evening 14 people took part in the cycle maintenance workshop.

Somer Valley Wheels celebrates 1,000th bike ride

1000th ride was celebrated in styleA celebration is taking place in Radstock to mark the 1,000th bike ride by members of the Somer Valley Wheels project, funded by Bath & North East Somerset Council in partnership with Bath and North East Somerset Primary Care Trust (PCT) and the Brighter Futures Group.
